Family Road Trip (Part 4)

This was my favorite day. We packed up and left for Utah. We decided to take a scenic drive through Rocky Mountain National Park. I'm not exaggerating when I say, it was a highlight of my life!

Here's me eating granola in the Rocky Mountains. Seemed fitting.

First pit stop

I can't even describe the feeling of being up so high.

When we got to the highest elevation, there was a place to park and go climb to the top of the mountain.

Everybody made it up except me! As you can see, we had to put our sweatshirts on, it was SO COLD up there!

It felt like we were on top of the world!

I took SO MANY more pictures. It was so hard to choose.

after coming back down, heading out of Colorado. I loved the contrast here between the mountains and the prairie.

After about 10 hours of driving and admiring some of God's most amazing creation,
we finally arrived in Salt Lake City.
This is where my brother lives. Surrounded by mountains.
This is the skyline. Not a city scape, but this is breathtaking.

  1. I love how the clouds in the "contrasting prairie picture" seem so low that you can see their shadows. and I really like the family photo with the wyoming sign. Awesome pics, as usual.
