I just realized that I never updated again about refinancing our mortgage. Everything processed - we closed the beginning of September, the loan "disbursed" on the 13th or so, we received all our refunds, and just made our first payment on the new loan. So, Everything looks to be fine, and it's so nice to be living in a workable budget finally, without the feeling of doom knowing that our payments would be increasing. So... that's that.
