Picture-A-Day: 

There are a bunch of pictures on this day, because we had Jayna's birthday party on Friday. 

She asked for a strawberry cake, for the 3rd year in a row (last year it was strawberry-banana). 

She really likes strawberries, I guess. 

And pizza for dinner, which gave us a great excuse to get pizza from our favorite place in Elkhart, Colombo's.

Jayna got to invite her friends over for dinner and cake. These girls have been friends for a long time and it's been really fun watching their friendships bloom as they've grown up.

I always have to get the "blowing out the candles" picture, thanks to my mom, who always did it to me and my brothers. It bothered me when I was a teenager, because I thought I looked goofy making that face, but now I can't resist - it seems like such an important moment!

Birthday Skype with Grandma Mary and Grandpa Mike (Grandmas Toni, Jan, and Jean, and Grandpa Bill were at the party too, but oops, didn't get any pictures of them.) I love how "Skype" has become a verb. As in, "do you wanna Skype tonight?" Kinda like "message me." Technology is cool.

Thank you for the new hat, scarves, and dress Uncle Jake and Aunt Cassie!
