Our Happy Place

Last Friday Derrick and I reached a milestone - our 5-year anniversary! We celebrated by going to Serenity Springs for the weekend, which is where we went for our honeymoon. Alyssa's camera ran out of memory, so I didn't get too many pictures, but that's ok.

There wasn't much to take pictures of, since we mostly just sat around all weekend. We had an AWESOME, wonderful, refreshing, romantic, fun time together, for almost 48 hours! We slept in, took naps, played cards, watched season 2 of Smallville, read a few chapters of Harry Potter, watched a few movies, sat in the hot tub a lot, in front of the cozy fireplace, ate lots of junk (including yummy cheesecake), made s'mores, had a romantic dinner brought to our cabin... you get the picture. Yeah, it was good.
